On Sunday 5th July we attended a site tour of Pix Brook Academy - the brand new school site being constructed in Stotfold by Willmott Dixon.
It was an absolute pleasure to attend the tour which provided an insight into what life in the new school will look and feel like. Our visit allowed us to get an idea of the true size and scale of the project, as once at full capacity, the school will have over 1200 pupils in attendance.
With construction ongoing, the new school site is due to open in September 2020, but considering the recent Covid-19 disruption, the progress that has recently been made is quite remarkable, and as can be seen from some of the photos, many of the classrooms are already looking like actual classrooms.
It is a very exciting time for the pupils who will be attending the school in the upcoming academic year and we very much look forward to seeing the facility once completed.
